Our goal is to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by a further 23% by 2030, compared to 2019, and to make all our sugar plants energy self-sufficient, using part of our beet pulp to power them, by 2050.
As a forerunner in water management, we have also set ourselves the target of no longer drawing water at all from the natural environment to run our sugar factories by 2030.
And because this transformation can only be achieved with our cooperators, employees, partners and customers, a large part of our CSR report is also dedicated to them.
